Getting Started is the Hardest

We all have been on many different paths, sometimes once and sometimes many times. One of the many paths that I tend to have to go down is the path to being healthier. The weight loss journey is a hard one and one that is also hard to face. But when one is truly ready to make the change then it is only their mind holding their body back in what it can really do. I have lost the weight before but gained it all back. Now I am ready to try that path again, and I want to share it with the world.

Why would I want to share such a personal path with everyone? I want people to see the struggles, the triumphs, and the results. I also want people to be inspired by me and people also to inspire me. Accountability is one of my hugest struggles, and with this blog everyone can help me with this path I have chosen to take again. With that being said...here we go!

Date: 09/08/2013 - 09/09/2013

Weight: 269.5

Exercise: I ran on Saturday and joined up with the Run Vie training group for
the fall season. This is a great group that has many different levels of athletes and is a wonderful support group (RunVie Racing). I plan on running on Sunday as well.

Eating habits: Been doing good cutting out anything that is fast food or fried food, but I have also had my weaknesses (I love cake!). Slowly, I will transition to counting calories and making my eating habits better.

Goal for the week: Stay up on the exercise routine and slowly phase out more bad foods.

Now for the hard part, the photographic evidence:

Every side of me :)

The dreaded scale:

Ready for a new season and a new start!!!

Shelly!
